The cabochon in this piece was purchased without a tag and so I've guess it to be Tree Agate. The shards inside make it look so much like a tree which is why the guess.
In a calm grey colour with black inclusions that look so interesting and beg many a look to understand where they go and the pattern they are making.
It is wrapped in lead free non-tarnish silver plated wire (over copper). It measures 2 3/4 inches (7 cm) by 1 1/2 inches (4 cm). A suitable chain is included so that it is ready to wear.
Certainly a great piece for a white blouse and suit.
