Helm Bracelet Set

Sterling silver rings stacked and woven in what is called the Helm or Parallel pattern. 

This is not your average body armour that you would think of for chain maille :)  The ancient art of chain maille is very popular again but now in the main stream too.  It has dozens of patterns and hundreds of variations on those patterns as well to make durable and very beautiful and intricate jewelry.  This is just one example.

I've woven this pattern to make a comfortable bracelet.  Being a flat pattern, it is less likely to cause difficulty during daily work, but is so attractive it most certainly can transition to evening.  The earrings are the same pattern pulled up into a circle and hung from Thai or Bali silver ear wires.  The clasp is also made of the same silver.
